The Flamengo squad returned to work this Monday (January 10.01th) in Londrina, after the first friendly of the year, played on Sunday (January 09.01th) at the Estádio do Café. The team rested in the morning, but returned to work in the afternoon at the SM Sports training center. Physical trainer Antônio Mello was primarily responsible for the activities, as the training was a recovery session, both on the field and in the gym.
During the week, the team returns to full-time training at the training center. On Sunday (January 16.01th), the team plays its second and final preseason friendly against América Mineiro, also at the Estádio do Café. The red-and-blacks return to Rio de Janeiro on Monday the 17th and make their debut on the 19th against Volta Redonda at the Engenhão.
