Flamengo's professional football squad returned to training on Thursday afternoon (21.05), at the George Helal Training Center. The Mais Querido continues preparing for the game against Avaí, on Sunday (24.05), at 16 pm, at Ressacada.

This afternoon's training, led by coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo, focused on technique. The squad's full-backs alternated on crosses; the forwards and midfielders were to finish while the defenders defended. Striker Nixon was given a lap around the field under the supervision of physiologist Claudio Pavanelli.

Mengão continues to prepare for the continuation of the Brasileirão. The squad trains this Friday morning (22.05) and then travels to Florianópolis, where they face Avaí. Fan members from Santa Catarina can see their children entering the field with the red-black squad. Click here to learn more.
