Saturday was a day of work and relaxation at Ninho do Urubu, Flamengo's training center in Vargem Grande. On the eve of their debut in the 2010 Brazilian Championship, the Flamengo squad played the traditional recreational match, and some players also worked on finishing afterward. The training session was the last before the match against São Paulo, this Sunday at 16 p.m., at the Maracanã stadium.

Coach Rogério Lourenço also decided on the squad for the match, but he didn't disclose it to the press and will keep it a secret until moments before kickoff. During last Friday's training session, the coach sat out Leonardo Moura, Maldonado, Willians, and Vagner Love.

One of the few players who are practically confirmed for the match is Kleberson, who gave a press conference after training and spoke about his comeback in the match against Corinthians last Wednesday.

"I had peace of mind and confidence, support from my family and friends who cheered for me, and that's part of football. I held on to that joy and knew that last Wednesday's game was important and that I needed to be in good shape. Thank God I came in, helped the team, and now it's a new competition. I trained hard, prepared myself, and I hope this start will be very good for me and for Flamengo," he said.

Flamengo faces São Paulo this Sunday at 16pm at Maracanã for the first round of the 2010 Brasileirão. The team that trained as a starter on Friday was lined up with Bruno, Everton Silva, David, Angelim and Juan; Rômulo, Toró, Kleberson, Fierro and Petkovic; Adriano.
