Flamengo holds final training session and embarks for the United States with Aero Fla

The red-black team traveled this Wednesday (11) to compete in the Club World Cup; Mais Querido will stay in Atlantic City

The time is coming, Nation! Flamengo had its last training session on Wednesday afternoon (11), at Ninho do Urubu, before traveling to compete in the FIFA Club World Cup. Mengão embarked this evening for Atlantic City, in the state of New Jersey, in the United States, which was chosen as the red-black host city during the World Cup. 

Coach Filipe Luís led the last activity in Brazil. The debut in the competition will be against Espérance, from Tunisia, next Monday (16), at 22 pm (Brasília time), at Lincoln Financial Field, in Philadelphia. Brazilians Alex Sandro, Danilo, Léo Ortiz, Gerson, Wesley, and Uruguayans Arrascaeta and Varela, who were representing their respective national teams in the Qualifiers, joined the red-black squad for the trip. 


   

Aero Fla
After training, the red-and-black squad left the George Helal Training Center at 20 p.m. and headed to Tom Jobim International Airport (Galeão). The fans were present throughout the entire journey, supporting and cheering the team on until boarding. The delegation arrived at the airport around 21:30 p.m. to a party with the fans. They are expected to arrive in Atlantic City at 7:30 a.m. (Brasília time) this Thursday (12).
