Seeking to qualify for the round of 28 of the Libertadores, Flamengo takes to the field this Wednesday (21) to face Deportivo Táchira, at 30:XNUMX pm, at Maracanã, for the last round of Group C of the continental competition. Depending on the result of the match between LDU and Central Córdoba, Mengão could finish in first place in the group. To do so, Rubro-Negro needs to win and hope that the Ecuadorians defeat the Argentines in the altitude of Quito.
Coach Filipe Luís led the final training session on Tuesday afternoon (27), at Ninho do Urubu, to determine the starting lineup. Midfielder Allan made good progress from his right thigh muscle injury, trained normally with the rest of the squad, and is available for the match. Captain Gerson, who left the match against Palmeiras with knee pain, underwent treatment with activities in the gym and on the field.
It's worth noting that Carlo Ancelotti called up five players for the Brazilian national team. Alex Sandro, Danilo, Gerson, Léo Ortiz, and Wesley will report to the national team next week for the World Cup qualifiers against Ecuador and Paraguay.
Transmission
TV Globo, ESPN, and Disney+ will broadcast the match live. Flamengo TV will be live from 18:30 PM for the pre-game show hosted by Dani Boaventura. When kickoff begins at 21:30 PM, the broadcast will be audio-only with commentary by João Guilherme.
