Flamengo makes final adjustments to face Athletico Paranaense in the Copa do Brasil

Everything ready for tomorrow! This Tuesday (11), the red-black squad made the final adjustments for the match against Athletico Paranaense, which will be played this Wednesday (12), at 21:30 pm, at Arena da Baixada, for the second leg of the quarterfinals of the Copa do Brasil.

Coach Jorge Sampaoli conducted tactical training today to determine the players who will start Wednesday's match. The Red-Blacks travel to Curitiba today in search of qualification.

This is the fifth consecutive year the two teams have faced each other in the Copa do Brasil. In the last four meetings, each team has come out on top twice. After winning the first leg 2-1, "Mais Querido" (the "Most Beloved") heads into the return leg with the advantage of a draw.

Flamengo and Athletico have faced each other 83 times in history, Mengão won 36 times, with three titles over the Paraná team, Copa do Brasil (2013), Supercopa (2020) and Libertadores (2022).
