Flamengo signs sponsorship deal with Portuguese olive oil company until the end of 2019
The brand will be printed on the professional football team's socks and on the back of the Flamengo/Marinha shirt
By Flamengo and Royal Olive Oil - inClube de Regatas do Flamengo has signed another sponsorship deal for this season. The club has partnered with Portuguese company Azeite Royal until the end of 2019.
The company's logo will be printed on the socks of the professional soccer team's players and on the back of the jerseys of Flamengo/Marinha, the women's soccer team. Azeite Royal was founded in 1980 in Portugal and recently began operations in Brazil.
Mais Querido's Executive Marketing Director, Maurício Portela, celebrated the partnership. "We are very happy to have another partner on our journey to make Flamengo even stronger," said Portela.
"We have our logo on the sock, but we intend to have it on the jersey next year. Flamengo is more than a national passion; it's a global passion. I'm happy to promote the sport, which is an important social tool for improving the nation's development. Furthermore, of course, Flamengo will give us enormous visibility by carrying our brand," commented businessman Eduardo Giraldes, owner of Azeite Royal, who also expressed his satisfaction at being on the Gávea Girls' Mantle. "It's a pleasure to support women's soccer, which has great potential and increasingly needs support and visibility," he concluded.
Azeite Royal debuts in the red-black uniform in this Saturday's match (21), against Cruzeiro, at Mineirão, valid for the 20th round of the Brazilian Championship.
