Flamengo completes preparations to face Portuguesa in their Taça Rio debut.

The second round of the Campeonato Carioca is approaching, and Flamengo's preparation for the first challenge of the Taça Rio has come to an end. At Ninho do Urubu, the Flamengo squad held their final tactical training session before traveling to Volta Redonda, where they will face Portuguesa.

Led by coach Vitor Hugo, the goalkeepers started the work on the afternoon of this Friday (10). Exercises focused on coming out of goal were followed by agility work, which took place on Field 3 of the CT. Meanwhile, on the same pitch, other athletes warmed up with physical activities and with the ball.

Next, the group went to Field 4, where the tactical training closed to the press began. Zé Ricardo outlined the team that will take the field in the match against Portuguesa. The match will be played this Saturday (11), at the Raulino de Oliveira stadium, with the ball rolling from 18:30 pm.
