On the day Flamengo unveiled another Flamengo signing for the 2017 season, Colombian striker Orlando Berrío, it concluded its preparations for the second round of the Campeonato Carioca. The athlete underwent his first evaluations as a player for the "Mais Querido" and briefly took to the field, observing part of the training session led by Zé Ricardo and running around the field after the training session.

The coach's work consisted of set pieces. Simulating game situations, Zé guided the group on positioning and movement during these types of plays. The team worked on offensive and defensive aspects of corner kicks and free kicks.

At the end of the session, Mancuello, Rafael Vaz, and Guerrero practiced free kicks directly at the goal defended by young goalkeeper León, who plays for Flamengo's under-20 team. On the other side of the field, full-backs Pará and Miguel Trauco worked on perfecting their crosses, with midfielders making runs to find Muralha's net.

The group travels to Volta Redonda later this Tuesday night (31), where the match against Macaé will take place. The match will be played at the Raulino de Oliveira Stadium, with the ball rolling from 19:30 pm.
