The match started with a lot of action, after just 10 minutes, Pedro made a good play on the right and crossed to Arrascaeta in the small area, but at the last moment the opposing defense intercepted, preventing the Uruguayan from finishing.

With very intense marking and with both teams studying each other a lot, the match was quite balanced, until in the 27th minute Pulgar recovered the ball in the attacking field and passed it to Luiz Araújo who set up Pedro to finish, but the goalkeeper palmed it to the goal line.
