On Tuesday morning (17), Flamengo finished its preparation for the match against Olimpia, which takes place tomorrow at 19:15 pm at Mané Garrincha, in Brasília. It is worth remembering that Mengão won the first leg 4-1 in Paraguay and will have a three-goal advantage to secure qualification for the tournament's semifinals.
Coach Renato Gaúcho led the final tactical training session before the match. Right-back Isla felt pain in the back of his right thigh after the match against Sport. An examination revealed no injury, but he showed signs of muscle fatigue, and as a result, the athlete was not included in the match. After training, the red-and-black delegation headed to the airport and boarded a flight to Brasília.
Flamengo hasn't lost a Libertadores match in exactly eleven months (or 14 matches). This current streak is the Mais Querido's longest unbeaten streak in the continental competition.
