On Saturday morning (30), Flamengo held its last training session before the match against Internacional, which will be played tomorrow (1), at 16 pm, at Maracanã. In case of victory, Mengão will overtake the team from Rio Grande do Sul in the league table.

Coach Filipe Luís led a tactical drill to determine the starting lineup for the match. Erick Pulgar, who received a red card in the 0-0 draw with Fortaleza, will serve a suspension against Inter. Meanwhile, Evertton Araújo is available again.

Flamengo and Internacional have faced each other 31 times in Rio de Janeiro state in the Brasileirão. And the advantage is for Flamengo! Flamengo has won 16 times, drawn seven times, and triumphed eight times for Internacional. In the first round of the Brasileirão, the teams tied 1-1 at Beira Rio. Alcaraz scored the goal for Internacional from Gávea from the penalty spot.
