This Friday (26), Flamengo finalized its preparation for the match against Boavista, which takes place tomorrow (27), at 21:05 pm, at the Elcyr Resende stadium, in Bacaxá. The confrontation is valid for the sixth round of the Campeonato Carioca. The Mais Querido leads the competition with 12 points won.

In the morning, at Ninho do Urubu, coach Mauricio Souza led a technical and tactical activity with the red-black squad that won the classic against Botafogo, held last Wednesday (24). The big news was the participation of Gabriel Barbosa in the activity. Mengão's top scorer was named for this Saturday's game.

Flamengo and Boavista have faced each other 18 times, with the Gávea team having a clear advantage. Flamengo has won 14 times, drawn three times, and lost only once. In the last meeting between the teams, played in July of last year, Boavista won 2-0 at the Maracanã.
