Flamengo's football is at home, and now in partnership with a renowned international consultancy. The club is proud to present a new partnership with the Belgian company Double Pass, which will operate at Mais Querido from September 2017 to December 2018 for a long-term project in South America. The partnership is famous for a highly successful case: the restructuring of German football, which culminated in the 2014 World Cup victory.

"The Belgian case, which preceded Germany's, which had its base transformed, revealed the generation we see today. Furthermore, they were hired by the English, American, and Chinese federations," recalled Luis Nogueira, the presidential consultant for youth football matters.

Traditionally a trainer of athletes, the club sought the consultancy with the goal of investing in and improving its talent development and development system. Double Pass will work to optimize the potential of young players over a 16-month period.

"They will be a great help in translating our football concept into a model that will be put on paper. They will complement the excellent work that already exists, organizing and standardizing our training model, ensuring its quality and sustainability," explained Nogueira.

An in-depth analysis of the current situation was conducted at the end of 2016, based on interviews with employees, players, and coaches, as well as by watching training sessions and matches of the club's youth academy. Based on this study, improvements were proposed, focusing on the corporate and operational management of football development.
