Rubro-Negro started the game defending better and quickly attacking. Just 16 minutes into the first half, Alan Patrick received the ball on the counterattack, dribbled past the Goiás defender, and shot accurately into the corner. Before the end of the first half, Goiás equalized with a quick free kick that ended with Erik's shot. "We didn't make it easy. Goiás came from way behind, and we conceded a goal from a set piece. They were careless," Wallace explained.
Second half of goals and applause for Alan Patrick
After the break, midfielder Jonas came on for Jajá. Within the first minute, a Pará play saw Alan Patrick capitalize on a rebound and score his second of the match. In the 5th minute, it was Kayke's turn to score his third, bringing the game back into balance.
In the 18th minute of the first half, the striker would score the fourth goal of the match and seal the victory. Oswaldo would bring on Canteros for Alan Patrick, who was applauded by the red-and-black fans, and Everton for Gabriel. The team continued to pass the ball around until the final whistle.
