Mengão took the field this Wednesday night against Ceará at Maracanã, with their seventh Brazilian championship title guaranteed. But they wanted to put on a good show on the field to celebrate the title with the nation, and they did. With three goals from Bruno Henrique, the competition's second-highest scorer, and one from Vitinho, the Mais Querido won 4-1, a comeback victory.

The game

Mengão created the main scoring chances in the first half. They hit the post twice: one from De Arrascaeta and the other from Bruno Henrique. But they went into halftime trailing 1-0. In the only chance they created in the first half, Ceará opened the scoring through Thiago Galhardo. 

In the second half, things were different. Vitinho's introduction gave the team a boost. And the comeback soon arrived with three goals from Bruno Henrique. All of them with incredible penalty-box presence from the striker. The fourth goal came from Vitinho, who, before shooting for goal, performed a beautiful pedal kick: Game over, 4-1 Flamengo.

After the match, the players, including Gabigol and Pablo Marí, who were not on the field, lifted the Hepta trophy and celebrated with the Nation.

Mengão returns to the field on Sunday to face Palmeiras, in the 36th round of the Brasileirão.
