The game
Flamengo started the match attacking their opponents. In the first minute, Bruno Henrique took a shot from outside the box, but the goalkeeper made a quick save. In the 10th minute, Everton Ribeiro sent Isla to the byline, who crossed back, and Diego finished over the bar.

The red-and-black team moved the ball around in attack, but struggled to break through La Calera's defense. In the 30th minute, Mengão opened the scoring! In a well-worked play, Gerson passed to Arrascaeta on the left. The Uruguayan flicked the ball into the middle of the box, and Gabigol appeared unmarked to tap it into the back of the net: 1-0.

Four minutes later, Flamengo extended their lead. After a quick counterattack, Bruno Henrique passed to Arrascaeta at the edge of the box. The midfielder had time to score the second goal for Flamengo: 2-0. Flamengo went into halftime with a healthy lead.

In the second half, La Calera came back stronger and reduced the deficit in the eleventh minute through Sáez: 2-1. After the goal, the red-and-black team once again put pressure on the Chilean team and created chances in attack. In the 33rd minute, La Calera scored the third! Bruno Henrique drove the ball through the middle and passed it to the right for Gabigol, who crossed the ball into the goalkeeper's corner: 3-1.

Minutes later, Flamengo scored again! Vitinho led a quick counterattack on the right, cut through the defense, and found Pedro. The striker entered the box, chipped the ball, and scored a stunning goal to seal the Flamengo's 4-1 victory at the Maracanã!
