Starting preparations for the match against São Paulo in the Brazilian Championship, Mais Querido held a training match against Resende on Thursday afternoon (29) at Ninho do Urubu. With goals scored by Rafael Vaz, Willian Arão, Gabriel, Ederson and Felipe Vizeu, in addition to the own goal by the opposing defender after a cross from the young left-back Moraes, Flamengo beat the team from the interior by 6-0.

The activity, divided into three periods of thirty minutes each, was Geuvânio's first with his new teammates. Besides him, Rhodolfo and Everton Ribeiro also played during the initial stage. Initially, coach Zé Ricardo fielded the following lineup: Muralha; Rodinei, Rhodolfo, Rafael Vaz and Renê; Rômulo and Willian Arão; Everton Ribeiro, Conca, Geuvânio; and Leandro Damião in attack.

In the final moments of the first half, Rafael Vaz opened the scoring with a powerful free-kick just outside the opponent's penalty area. For the second half, Matheus Savio, Ederson, and Léo Duarte were brought on as substitutes. Shortly after the break, Willian Arão extended Flamengo's lead.

Zé Ricardo made a few more changes to the team during the training session, in order to give playing time to the players who haven't been playing regularly and who are returning from injury, as was the case with striker Gabriel, who scored the third goal of the practice match. Moments later, Renê delivered a perfect cross for Ederson, who controlled it with his chest and turned the victory into a rout.

Taking advantage of a cross from Vinicius Júnior, Felipe Vizeu further extended Flamengo's lead in the match, which was concluded with an own goal after a cross from Moraes on the left side, sealing the score at Ninho do Urubu.

Activities will resume on Friday morning (30). The Most Beloved will enter the final stretch of preparation to face the São Paulo team. The match will be played at Ilha do Urubu, with the ball rolling from 16 pm.
