Flamengo paid tribute to its youth squad and coaching staff this Thursday afternoon. The players and coaching staff won their third state championship this year, the Belo Horizonte Cup (equivalent to the Brazilian Championship), and third place in the Club World Cup in Malaysia.

A lunch was offered at a restaurant in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro with the presence of president Márcio Braga, who, in his speech, thanked the players for helping to maintain the maxim "Flamengo makes stars at home".

Then it was Moyses Saubel's turn, director of the youth teams, to speak and emphasize that, in addition to the excellent campaign, the players displayed exemplary behavior throughout the trip to Malaysia and, therefore, deserved the result.
