Flamengo opens its 55th official store, employing residents of Rio das Pedras.
The unit will open this Thursday, on the club's 123rd anniversary, with the presence of world champion Andrade; the club is a leader in its segment in the country.

The new unit, the 55th of the project, will be in Rio das Pedras, in the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro - EJacarepaguá street, number 3520 - And it will have among its employees local residents passionate about Flamengo. The event starts at 11 am and will feature the distinguished presence of Andrade, a multi-champion with the red-and-black jersey.
Even amidst a national economic recession, the project is swimming against the tide and showing impressive results: sales grew by approximately 35% in 2018 compared to 2017. Today, the network of official stores is the flagship of Flamengo's licensing sector and represents 12% of the club's marketing revenue. Later this year, the club will inaugurate another unit in Campos, a city in the interior of the state of Rio de Janeiro. Flamengo is the leader in the segment of official club stores in the country.
