Flamengo begins the week's work with an eye on Nova Iguaçu

Flamengo kicked off its week of training this Monday morning at Ninho do Urubu. The "Mais Querido" is preparing for the first leg of the Campeonato Carioca final on Saturday at 17 p.m. at Maracanã Stadium, against Nova Iguaçu.

Rubro-Negro is coming off a semifinal defeat to Fluminense. Mengão won the first leg 2-0 and drew the return 0-0. Nova Iguaçu, meanwhile, eliminated Vasco. 

In the Conmebol Libertadores, Flamengo debuts on Tuesday, in Colombia, at 19 pm (Brasília time), against Millonarios.
