Flamengo began the second day of preparation for the classic against Vasco, on Sunday (01.08), with a technical training session in Gávea. Coach Rogério Lourenço divided the squad into four clubs and promoted an internal mini championship on the morning of this Wednesday (28.07).

The four teams, each with six players and a goalkeeper, faced off in simultaneous matches on both halves of the pitch. The orange team consisted of Maldonado, Juan, David, Borja, Willians, and Petkovic. The non-vest team trained with Jean, Camacho, Leo Moura, Marquinhos, Val Baiano, and Kleberson.

The gray team had Fabrício, Vinícius Pacheco, Alvim, Michael, Welinton, and Leo Medeiros, while the red team was lined up with Angelim, Diego Maurício, Fernando, Everton Silva, Rômulo, and Lenon. Correa worked out in the gym, while Saba, Antônio, and Thiago Sales did a physical activity with trainer Diogo Linhares.
