Flamengo begins a week of preparation for the classic against Fluminense

After having a day off last Sunday, Flamengo returned this Monday (14) and continued preparations for the classic against Fluminense, in the 30th round of the Brasileirão. The Rio duel will be played next Thursday (17), at 20 pm, at Maracanã.

Under Filipe Luís's command, the red-and-black squad performed technical and tactical exercises. Having recovered from discomfort in his right thigh, left-back Alex Sandro participated normally in training with his teammates and is available for the derby.

The Most Beloved returns to training this Tuesday (15) still without the presence of the athletes called up for their respective national teams for the World Cup Qualifiers. Gerson, Fabrício Bruno, Arrascaeta, De La Cruz, Varela, Erick Pulgar and Plata return to work at Ninho do Urubu this week.

After Fla-Flu, Mengão will face Corinthians, in the second leg of the Copa do Brasil semifinals, next Sunday (20), at 16 pm, at Neo Química Arena. With a draw, the red-black team guarantees a place in the grand final of the competition.
