In the seventh round of the Cariocão, Flamengo beat Bangu 3-0 on Wednesday night (31), at the Raulino de Oliveira stadium. Mengão's goals were scored by Bruno Henrique, Arrascaeta and Gabigol. With the victory, Mais Querido reached 16 points and remained in the lead of the championship.  

The game
Flamengo started the match creating a good opportunity just two minutes in. Arrascaeta delivered a perfect cross for Gabigol, who headed dangerously close to the goal. The red-and-black team had more possession and exchanged passes in the attacking half. In the 17th minute, another great chance was created. Gabigol was played through on the right, crossed with the outside of his foot to Bruno Henrique's head, who headed the ball over the bar.

Flamengo relied on plays down the wings, mainly with Everton Ribeiro and Isla making overlapping runs. At 25 minutes, Bruno Henrique received a good pass from Arrascaeta inside the area, cut inside and shot. The ball went over the goal. In the following play, in a set piece, Arrascaeta took a free kick that found Filipe Luís' head, who, alone inside the area, headed point-blank but the goalkeeper made a good save. In the last play of the first half, Flamengo opened the scoring! Diego delivered a perfect cross for Bruno Henrique, who rose high to head in the first goal: 1-0.

Returning for the second half, Flamengo continued with greater attacking pressure and attempted offensive plays. Seven minutes in, Arrascaeta crossed into the box and Everton Ribeiro headed the ball just wide of the crossbar. After the water break, Flamengo extended their lead! Arrascaeta received the ball at the edge of the box, dribbled past his marker and fired a low shot into the corner: 2-0.

At 39 minutes, Flamengo scored their third goal! Vitinho received the ball with his back to the defense and passed it perfectly to Gabigol, who placed a shot into the top corner of the goal: 3-0. Dominating the entire match, the red-and-black team did their job and left the field with another victory.

Next appointment
Flamengo returns to the field next Monday (05) to face Madureira, at 21 pm, with the location still undefined.
