The CBF drew on Monday afternoon (28), in Rio de Janeiro, the home field teams for the Copa do Brasil finals. It was decided that Flamengo will play the first leg against São Paulo at Maracanã, on September 17, and the return leg at Morumbi, on the 24th of the same month.

Coach Jorge Sampaoli and players Filipe Luís and Everton Ribeiro represented the Rubro-Negro in the draw. The Argentine manager commented on the two final matches.

"Choosing whether to play away or at home is a matter of circumstances. We know we'll have two games, and we'll have to try to win both to be champions. The challenge won't be where we play; the challenge will be São Paulo," said Sampaoli.

The Copa do Brasil champion will receive R$70 million, while the runner-up will receive R$30 million.
