Flamengo mourns the death of Raul Quadros

Reporter and former advisor to Zico died at age 74, victim of cancer

Clube de Regatas do Flamengo deeply regrets the death of journalist Raul Quadros, who left us in the early hours of this Tuesday (13), at the age of 74, victim of cancer. The wake will be at 14 pm, in chapel 5 of the São João Batista cemetery, in Botafogo, South Zone of Rio de Janeiro. The burial will be at 16 pm.

In addition to his son, Bruno Quadros, who once played for Flamengo and is now a coach, Raul was also a press officer for Zico, the greatest idol in Flamengo's history, becoming a close friend of the Galinho. As a reporter, he began his career at Jornal dos Sports and worked for Estado de S. Paulo, Placar magazine, TV Educativa, and Rede Globo.
