Clube de Regatas do Flamengo is not only the leader of the 2025 Brazilian Championship table. The numbers prove the red-and-black team's great form on the field, with a highlight on the balance between offensive efficiency and defensive solidity.

Coach Filipe Luís's team boasts the best attack in the competition so far, scoring 47 goals, and the tightest defense, conceding just 10. The team has also gone 13 games without conceding a goal in the Brasileirão.

In attack, Flamengo is first in corners (148 in total, 6,7 per game) and headed goals (10 in total, an average of 0,45 per game). The team also leads in one-on-one situations: in the final third, there were 204 attempted dribbles (9,2 per game) and 100 successful ones (4,5 per game).

Another notable statistic regarding offensive efficiency is the number of shots that result in goals. The club registers a 14,1% conversion rate (shots vs. goals scored), above the league average of 9,3%.

The high-pressing style of play also shows in the statistics for possession recoveries in the attacking half, with 901 in total (41 per game). This contributes to Flamengo leading in possession (62,3%), as well as being first in successful passes (12.087 in total, 550 per game).

In the Brasileirão, Flamengo returns to the field on Sunday (21), in a classic against Vasco da Gama, at Maracanã. Before, on Thursday (18), they face Estudiantes in the quarterfinals of the CONMEBOL Libertadores.
