The game

The match began with Bayern pressing forward and taking the lead after just five minutes. Kimmich took a corner kick, and Erick Pulgar deflected it into his own net to make it 1-0. Three minutes later, Bayern doubled their lead through Harry Kane, who capitalized on Flamengo's mistake in the clearance and fired a shot from outside the box into Rossi's right corner: 2-0.

Flamengo attempted a comeback in the 14th minute. Wesley crossed, Arrascaeta flicked it onto the far post, and Luiz Araújo fired a first-time shot, drawing a superb save from Neuer. Gradually, Flamengo began to gain more possession and attempted to attack. The better side, Mengão pulled one back in the 32nd minute. Luiz Araújo crossed into the box, Arrascaeta squared it back, and Gerson unleashed a first-time shot to bulge the net: 2-1.

Bayern scored the third in the 41st minute. Luiz Araújo dispossessed Laimer in the box and unleashed a long shot forward. The ball fell to Goretzka, who fired in from outside the box to extend the Germans' lead to 3-1.

In the final minutes, Pulgar felt a blow and was replaced by Allan. The first half ended with Flamengo trailing.

After the break, Flamengo sought to maintain possession in the attacking half to attempt penetrative plays. Seven minutes in, Flamengo was awarded a penalty. Olise handled the ball in the box, and the referee awarded the penalty. Jorginho, with tremendous skill, simply displaced Neuer to score the second: 3-2. It was the midfielder's first goal in the Sacred Mantle.

After the red-and-black's second goal, Filipe Luís took off Arrascaeta and brought on Bruno Henrique to add more pace to the attack. In the 27th minute, Bayern scored the fourth after another mistake in the ball out. Luiz Araújo tried to dribble in the middle of the field, but was dispossessed by Laimer, who passed to Kimmich. He found a good pass for Kane to hit into the left corner past Rossi: 4-2.

In the final stretch, Flamengo pushed forward but failed to score. The game ended with a loss in Miami. With this result, Flamengo bid farewell to the Club World Cup.
