In the tenth round of the Brazilian Championship, Flamengo lost to Ceará 2-0 this Sunday (13), at Arena Castelão, in Fortaleza. Now, Rubro-Negro turns its attention to the clash against Independiente del Valle, valid for the Libertadores.

O JOGO
In the first half, Flamengo dominated the game and created good chances. The main opportunities fell to top scorer Gabigol. In the 11th minute, Michael crossed to the striker, who headed wide. In the 15th minute, Gabigol played a one-two with Everton Ribeiro, but he also sent the ball wide. This time with his right foot.

In the 34th minute, Everton Ribeiro launched a pass from the left, Michael controlled it, knocked it off his marker, and fired a powerful left-footed shot. The ball went to Fernando Prass's left. The first half ended all square: 0-0.

Prass rebounded, and Diego headed the ball over the goal. The red-and-black team searched for their goal until the end, but failed. The Ceará team won 2-0.

The Most Beloved returns to the field next Thursday (17) to face Independiente del Valle, at 21 pm, at the Casa Blanca stadium, in Ecuador. The game is valid for the third round of the group stage of the Conmebol Libertadores.
