In the seventh round of the Brasileirão, Flamengo lost to Juventude 1-0 on Sunday morning (27), at the Alfredo Jaconi Stadium, in Caxias do Sul-RS. With the lawn damaged, with many puddles of water due to the rain, the red-black team ended up having its football affected and was defeated away from home.

The game
In the opening minutes of the match, puddles were already visible on the field, and the ball was struggling to roll. In the 14th minute, Flamengo made its first good attack. Michael passed the ball to Bruno Henrique, who controlled it in the box, and when he tried to shoot, the defender cut it out for a corner.

In the 24th minute, Juventude opened the scoring. Matheuzinho tried to backtrack the ball, but it ended up in a puddle, and Matheus Peixoto took advantage and hit a beautiful shot from outside the box: 1-0. After conceding the goal, the red-and-black team began to hold possession longer and tried to attack. The first half ended with the home team ahead.

In the second half, Flamengo came back to attack Juventude, trying to tie the game. Just five minutes in, Filipe Luís took advantage of a corner kick and fired a dangerous shot. In the 16th minute, Bruno Henrique attempted a volley inside the box, but the ball was weak and fell into the hands of Marcelo Carné. In the 22nd minute, Pedro controlled the ball with his back to goal, turned, and fired a powerful shot. The ball went just wide of the post.

The Mais Querido continued to pressure the team from Rio Grande do Sul. In the 28th minute, Rodinei crossed into the box, Rafael Forster cleared poorly, and Pedro headed the ball in the six-yard box, but the goalkeeper palmed it away for a corner. Due to the numerous stoppages during the game, the referee added eight minutes of stoppage time. The red-and-black team searched for the equalizer until the end, but ended up leaving the field defeated.

Next appointment
Mais Querido returns to the field next Thursday (01) to face Cuiabá, at 20 pm, at Arena Pantanal, in a game valid for the eighth round of the Brazilian Championship.
