Flamengo suffered its first loss in the Brazilian Championship this Saturday: 3-2 to RB Bragantino at the Maracanã. Young striker Rodrigo Muniz scored both goals for the Mais Querido, who returns to action on Wednesday, also at the Maracanã, to face Fortaleza. The match, part of the Brazilian Championship, will be played at 19 p.m.

The game

The match started better for Bragantino, who opened the scoring in the 11th minute through Aderlan. After conceding the goal, Bragantino took control of the game and created plenty of chances. In the 14th minute, Rodrigo Muniz unleashed a rocket from the edge of the box, and goalkeeper Cleiton performed a miracle, saving Bragantino. On the second attempt, the young striker made no mistake. In the 26th minute, after a scuffle in the box, Michael's shot was off target, and the ball reached Muniz, who scored with his left foot from inside the box: 1-1.

Muniz was still doing incredibly well and nearly scored again in the 35th minute. He fired a cross from outside the box, and Cleiton performed another miracle. In the 36th minute, after a corner kick, Muniz fired over the bar.

Nothing to discourage the youngster. In the second half, Flamengo turned the game around in style. In the 18th minute, Matheuzinho crossed into the box and Rodrigo Muniz scored with a bicycle kick. A masterpiece at the Maracanã. The lead, however, didn't last long. Bragantino equalized in the 23rd minute with Ramires, a very lucky strike from the midfielder.

Flamengo dominated, created more chances, but couldn't find a third goal. Their punishment came in the 52nd minute, with Chrigor's header.
