In its final game of the 2019 Brazilian Championship, played on Sunday afternoon, Flamengo was defeated 4-0 by Santos at Vila Belmiro. The seven-time Brazilian champion (with an impeccable record, it's worth noting) now focuses on the Club World Cup, which begins for the club on December 17th in Doha, Qatar.

Mengão finished the national competition with 90 points, the best campaign by a team in the history of the Brazilian points-based league with 20 teams.
