The game

Flamengo started the match with good possession, but were caught out in the 12th minute. Vina scored for Ceará. In the 26th minute, De Arrascaeta had a good chance to equalize. After a one-two with Pedro, he fired a powerful shot, forcing goalkeeper Richard to make a great save. In the 32nd minute, after a cross into the box, Gustavo Henrique attempted a header, but the Ceará goalkeeper saved without letting go. In the 38th minute, Arrascaeta tried again. After a good play by Gerson inside the box, the Uruguayan shot, but the ball deflected off the Ceará defender and ended up with the goalkeeper.

In the second half, Flamengo came back much stronger. They created at least four clear chances to tie the game. Three of them fell to striker Pedro. In the 21st minute, Pedro received the ball from Arrascaeta and, face-to-face with goalkeeper Richard, shot over the bar. In the 23rd minute, Isla headed the ball to Pedro, who also headed it in. Richard performed a miracle. In the 27th minute, Filipe Luís found Pedro alone in the box. The center forward received the ball but shot poorly, wide. Arrascaeta still had a good chance with a free kick in the 40th minute, but the ball went wide. On the counterattack, Ceará scored the second goal with Kelvyn.
