Flamengo prepared to face Remo
Right after this afternoon's technical training, the red-black delegation embarked for Belém, where Fla faces Remo in the second round of the Copa do Brasil.
By Flamengo Archive - inThe Flamengo squad returned on Monday afternoon, in Gávea, for the only training session in Rio de Janeiro before heading to Belém, where the red-black team will face Remo, on Wednesday, in a match valid for the second round of the Copa do Brasil.
The players who started yesterday's derby against Fluminense only did strength training exercises at the club's gym. On the field, coach Cuca led a technical session for the rest of the squad. The only exception was striker Emerson, who scored the equalizer in yesterday's match. The number 11 also did muscle relaxation work at the gym.
The red-and-black delegation heads to Belém with three new additions. Juniors Jorbison, Lenon, and Guilherme Camacho were named in the squad by coach Cuca. Fábio Luciano, Zé Roberto, Léo Moura, Ronaldo Angelim, Josiel, and Obina remain in Rio de Janeiro preparing for the Taça Rio semifinal against Fluminense on Sunday at the Maracanã stadium.
