Flamengo ready to face Palmeiras

By Flamengo Archive - inWith the celebrations for Flamengo's 113th anniversary taking place in Gávea, the red-black team's professional squad returned this Saturday morning, at CT Ninho do Urubu, for the last training session before facing Palmeiras, tomorrow, at 17 pm, at Maracanã.
In the intense heat, Caio Júnior took advantage of the excellent pitch at the training center to perfect his set pieces. The Flamengo manager extensively practiced his wing plays. Left-back Juan trained and has a good chance of facing Palmeiras.
After the activity, midfielder Ibson said that all the players expect a great performance from the team.
"It's a tough match, against a team that's been having a great campaign. They have great players and an established coach. Even so, I'm very confident in a victory. We're working hard and have everything we need to put on a great performance. We'll play in front of our fans, and only a win matters. It'll be a great match."
