Cuca led a collective training session and confirmed the starting lineup for the match against São Paulo on Sunday at Morumbi Stadium. The match is part of the tenth round of the Brazilian Championship.
During the training session, the red-and-black coach fielded the starting lineup as follows: Bruno; Everton Silva, Welinton, Fabrício, and Ronaldo Angelim; Léo Moura; Williams, Fierro, and Everton; Zé Roberto and Adriano. Cuca opted for a back four, with Everton and Léo Moura on the wings. In the middle, Williams played defensively, and Fierro and Zé Roberto created plays.
After the training session, the players practiced finishing extensively. Petkovic excelled in his free kicks.
