Flamengo delivers hand sanitizer to football players
Players receive the club's new licensed product, a great ally in the fight against COVID-19, at their homes
By Communication - Flamengo - inThis Monday (20), Flamengo made the first batch of deliveries of licensed alcohol gel to the professional football team. Berrío, Bruno Henrique, César, Everton Ribeiro, Gabigol, Gerson, Rafinha, Renê, Thuler and Willian Arão received the product at their respective homes.
The club recently partnered with LBBio (Brazilian Biology Laboratory) to license the product, which is crucial during this time of coronavirus response. Approximately 200 units are being donated, along with food baskets, to communities in Rio de Janeiro. The first delivery was in Vila Aliança, in the West Zone.
The action, carried out last Friday (17), was also part of the campaign "SOS Favela/Viva Rio" and "Nação Solidária: Flamengo champion on and off the field", which consists of collecting food and hygiene items for people in situations of risk and vulnerability.
