The year started with a lot of hard work at Ninho do Urubu! On the first working day of 2025, Flamengo's U-20 team continued its preparations for its debut in the Campeonato Carioca, which will be against Boavista on January 12th, at 16 pm, at Batistão Stadium in Aracaju, Sergipe. It's worth noting that Flamengo will play with a team made up mostly of youth players in the first rounds of the state championship.

Meanwhile, Mengão's main squad will return on January 8th and will conduct preseason training in the United States. Coach Filipe Luís's team will face Botafogo in the Brazilian Super Cup final on February 2nd at the Mangueirão stadium in Belém, Pará.
