The second day of pre-season in Mangaratiba was a lot of work for the Flamengo team, which in addition to morning workout, returned to carry out activities in the afternoon of this Saturday (09.01). Defender Juan was officially presented to the Red-Black Nation after the morning preparation.

In the second phase of training, the squad was divided into two groups: one group performed functional training, the other muscle strengthening—and vice versa. Then, under the guidance of physical trainers Carlito and Marcelo Martorelli, the athletes performed interval training divided into sectors: midfielders and full-backs, forwards and defenders.

Flamengo will continue training in Mangaratiba until January 19th. The Mais Querido's first match in 2016 will be against Ceará, for the Taça Asa Branca, at Castelão, in Fortaleza, on January 21.01st.
