On Friday morning (13), Flamengo continued its preparations for its debut in the Club World Cup. Under the command of coach Filipe Luís, the red-black team carried out an activity on the field of Stockton University, in New Jersey (USA). Arrascaeta and Alex Sandro, who carried out load control in the last training session, participated normally in the work.

The news was Plata's presence on the field. The striker, who was already in the final stages of recovering from a bone edema in his knee, was reinstated to the squad and should be available for the debut against Espérance next Monday. Uruguayan Nico De La Cruz continued his physiotherapy work and is only expected to be cleared to play in the second round against Chelsea.

In the afternoon, at 14 pm (Brasília time), defender Léo Ortiz will give a press conference with live broadcast on FlamengoTV. The squad returns to training on Saturday afternoon (14), when they will carry out the penultimate activity before their debut in the World Cup.
