Flamengo continues preparing at Ninho do Urubu for the classic against Fluminense. The two teams will face each other next Saturday (13), at 17 pm, at Maracanã. Coach Dorival Júnior took advantage of the afternoon of this Wednesday (10) to continue adjusting the squad with an eye on the commitment valid for the 29th round of the Brazilian Championship.
The first activity led by Dorival Júnior and his coaching staff focused on reaction time. The players worked in a reduced space, and the training aimed to force quick passing in the shortest possible time.
Next, the coach led a drill focused on offensive plays. During the exercise, the players had to make quick decisions, apply pressure, and always provide an option for the teammate who had possession of the ball.
Defender Rhodolfo returned to training with the rest of his teammates on Wednesday afternoon and had a good performance. The number 44 has recovered, but continues to be closely monitored by members of the Flamengo coaching staff.
Athletes Diego and Diego Alves ran on the field and completed a supplementary training session with professionals from the Center of Excellence in Performance. Midfielder Ronaldo continued his physiotherapy process in the training center's gym.
