On the morning of this Thursday (14), the red-black coach Zé Ricardo led tactical work with the athletes at the George Helal Training Center, in Vargem Grande. The activity also focused on set pieces and, at the beginning and end of the training period, there was finishing work.

The training day began with muscle activation work at Flamengo's Performance Excellence Center (CEP FLA). The athletes then headed to Field 2 to begin their warm-up.

Next, finishing practice began on the pitch at Field 1. The exercise consisted of numerical superiority of attacking players, with three at a time, against two defending players, who tried to prevent shots on goal.

Next, it was time for tactical work. Zé Ricardo instructed the athletes during part of the activity, pausing occasionally to adjust their positioning. The longest interruptions occurred during set pieces, both offensive and defensive, to guide the athletes during and rehearse plays.

This Friday (15), the last training session will take place before the classic against Botafogo, on Saturday (16). The match will be played at the Luso-Brasileiro Stadium, on Ilha do Governador (RJ), with the ball rolling from 16 pm.
