Flamengo held the last training session at Ninho do Urubu on Friday afternoon (13) before the match against Atlético-GO, which will be played this Saturday (14), at 21:30 pm, at Maracanã. The match is valid for the 21st round of the Brazilian Championship.
Coach Rogério Ceni led a technical and tactical training session on the training ground. The Flamengo captain actively participated in the activity and demanded intense training from the squad.
Flamengo and Atlético-GO have faced each other 16 times in history, with the Rio de Janeiro club having the upper hand. In total, Flamengo has recorded eleven wins, three draws, and two losses. In the last meeting between the two teams, Dragão prevailed, winning 3-0 in the second round of the Brasileirão.
