Flamengo holds final training session before the derby against Botafogo

Delayed match of the seventh round of Carioca will be played this Wednesday (12), at 21:30 pm, at Maracanã

Everything is ready for another classic! On Tuesday afternoon (11), Flamengo finished its preparations for the duel against Botafogo, which takes place tomorrow (12), at 21:30 pm, at Maracanã, for the postponed game of the seventh round of the Campeonato Carioca. In case of victory, Rubro-Negro takes the lead in the Taça Guanabara. 

Coach Filipe Luís led the final training session before the match. Players Arrascaeta and De La Cruz participated in training as usual and are available to the coach. Meanwhile, Alex Sandro suffered a muscle injury in his left thigh during the last Fla-Flu match and is undergoing treatment at the training center. 

Flamengo and Botafogo faced off in this year's Brazilian Super Cup. Mengão defeated the black and white team 3-1 and became the tournament's third champion. Bruno Henrique (2) and Luiz Araújo scored at the Mangueirão stadium in Belém, Pará.
