Coach Tite led a tactical drill to determine the starting eleven for Wednesday's match. After training, the red-and-black delegation returned to Brazil and will head straight to Belém.
This will be the first time Mengão will face Sampaio Corrêa-RJ. After 11 years, Flamengo will play a match at Mangueirão Stadium again. The last time was on March 3, 2013, in a 1-0 victory over Remo, with a goal by Rafinha, in the first round of the Copa do Brasil. That year, Flamengo won the national championship for the third time.
