Flamengo hosts Grêmio in a Brazilian Championship match
Teams duel at Maracanã and the ball will roll from 21:45 pm

Buoyed by a big away win, Flamengo returns to action in front of its fans, taking on Grêmio at 21:45 p.m. this Wednesday at Maracanã Stadium. The victory against Sport kept the "Mais Querido" in contention for the title, and the match against the Rio Grande do Sul team will be another decisive match for the Red-Blacks.
Flamengo currently sits third in the Brazilian Championship with 60 points. Flamengo returns to play at Maracanã after two away matches.
Flamengo is currently in second place in the Brazilian Championship with 66 points and is still in the running for the national competition title.

On the eve of the match against Grêmio, goalkeeper César gave a press conference at Ninho do Urubu and highlighted the importance of the Nation's support on Wednesday night (21).
Without a doubt, it's another big game. Facing Grêmio is always a challenge. We'll have a packed Maracanã stadium, and the fans will be cheering us on. This final stretch is very difficult. We achieved a great result against Sport and we have another big game against Grêmio. We need to be prepared, and we are."
Still talking to journalists, the number 37 stated that everyone in the squad is thinking about winning the Brazilian Championship title.
"We believe we can win the title. These three games are incredibly important; they mean a lot. We need to do our best, win, and wait and see what happens. We don't know what might happen. We have to think about what we have, our table."

Flamengo x Gremio
