The winner of the match qualifies for the round of 16, where they will face Chapecoense.
The team will be managed by Jayme de Almeida, who took over after Zé Ricardo left the position. In the first match, Flamengo won 5-2. At the San Carlos de Apoquindo Stadium in Las Condes, they secured a great advantage for the home game. Now, at home, Flamengo can lose by up to three goals and still advance. We have to prove ourselves and the fans who have been supporting us, who are just as upset as we are, a good game. Flamengo vs. Palestino
The teams have faced each other three times in history, with two wins for Flamengo and one for the Chilean team. In the 2016 edition of the competition, Flamengo won away from home 1-0, but was defeated at home in the return leg 2-1 and was eliminated.
