Clube de Regatas do Flamengo announces that it has renewed the contract of athlete Vinícius Júnior. The agreement includes a salary increase for the striker and a change in the amount of the termination clause in the event of offers from foreign clubs: from €30 million to €45 million. 

A standout player at the 2017 São Paulo Junior Football Cup and the top scorer and champion with the Brazilian national team at the last South American Under-17 Championship, Vinicius Júnior was integrated into Flamengo's professional squad last week. The 16-year-old made his debut last Saturday in a 1-1 draw with Atlético-MG.
