After this afternoon's tactical training session in Gávea, coach Cuca practically confirmed the starting lineup that will face Ivinhema on Wednesday, in the red-and-black team's Copa do Brasil debut. The new additions include the additions of Everton Silva, Toró, and Josiel, as well as the inclusion of Léo Moura in midfield.

"Yesterday's training session was a rough outline of the team I'm starting to put together. It's natural that after the elimination I'll make a few changes. They said Fábio Luciano had been left out. That's not the case. I just wanted to keep an eye on Douglas and Wellinton. Fábio is a regular starter, but I still don't know who will partner him in Wednesday's game. Josiel is coming in for Obina, which was expected. Léo Moura will play in midfield alongside Ibson, with two defensive midfielders behind him, Airton and Toró. I believe the midfield will be more robust, and we'll improve our containment and dynamism."

The red-black coach did not fail to praise the squad's dedication in recent training sessions.

"I'm seeing great progress from the players. We're working hard and gradually improving. I really liked the work of Erick Flores, Paulo Sérgio, and Maxi, for example. Everyone is dedicated, and that's what's important."
