Flamengo prepares for the next challenge

Part of the squad did collective training this afternoon in Gávea.

After beating Nacional-URU 2-0 and taking the lead in Group 4 of the Copa Libertadores, Flamengo turns its attention to the Campeonato Carioca, as on Saturday, the red-black team faces Cabofriense, at 16 pm, at Maracanã.

The squad returned to training this Thursday afternoon in Gávea and was divided into two groups. The players who started the match against Nacional only did a muscle recovery exercise in the club's pool.

The remaining players participated in a training session against the youth team. Coach Joel Santana fielded Marcelo Lomba, Rodrigo Arroz, Leonardo, and Thiago Salles; Léo Moura, Jáilton, Jônatas (Gávilan), and Toró; Maxi, Diego Tardelli, and Obina. The team won 1-0, with a goal from Léo Moura.
